Athens Preview: Misfortune 500 at Popfest tonight!

Popfest has taken over Athens, bringing bands upon brilliant bands to rock our days and nights this week! Among them, local alt rockers Misfortune500 have plans to blow us away with tonight's show. Describing their sound as one of gravity and grandeur, the band promises to give the audience "the opportunity to feel real human emotions, find love, find inspiration, find themselves. Be galvanized. " Influenced by "the concept of longing that matures into action" and a strong desire to defy the world's current view of popular music, they appear to have some surprises in store for us when they step onstage tonight. Most intriguing, they've been recruiting models to be used in the show for some mysterious purpose though they're remaining tight-lipped about exactly what that purpose is. Guess we'll just have to see the show to find out. Exciting!
